Hobsonville 5k

The Hobsonville 5k Fun Run & Walk is based at the event headquarters at Hobsonville War Memorial Park in northwest Auckland and follows the classic Hobsonville Point loop. From the start the route heads north-east along the roads of Hobsonville Point towards the harbour edge, then follows the coastal Little Loop track past Catalina Bay and the waterfront reserves around Harrier Point and Bomb Point before returning through the streets of the point to the finish. The course is almost entirely sealed road and paved path. The profile is gently rolling, with a few short rises and falls. Runners and walkers are welcome, and the 5k starts at 8:30am alongside the half marathon, 10k and 2k Kids' Dash as part of Round Four of the Auckland Half Marathon Series.
