About this race
The ACM 5km Series is run on a flat course on riverside paths and park tracks in Lansdowne, on the edge of Masterton in the Wairarapa. The course follows the Waipoua River through the park beside Mawley Holiday Park, running north-west along the riverbank towards the town and returning along the same river path. A second section heads south from the start along the river towards Henley Lake before returning to the start area. The surface is mostly dirt path, with some short paved sections, and the profile is flat with only gentle rises and falls. Each event in the series uses the same 5km course, and a shorter 2km course is also available for runners and walkers. The series is free to enter and open to everyone, with an early start at 8:45 am.
