Corporate Challenge Auckland 5k

The Corporate Challenge Auckland is a 5km run or walk held on a summer evening in the Auckland Domain, with the start and finish lines on Wintergarden Rd near the Wintergarden on the upper playing fields. Auckland Museum sits directly ahead of the start. The route is almost entirely paved and is made up of two laps of a loop around the upper fields and the surrounding parkland, with each lap returning past the start area. The course passes Auckland's historic landmarks, including the Auckland Museum, the Cenotaph, the Wintergarden and the Pavilion, with harbour views throughout. The profile is gently rolling, with a short climb and descent on each lap, and the organisers describe the course as virtually unaltered from previous editions. The event is entered by teams, with runners and walkers taking part together.
