About this race
The Clevedon Half Marathon starts and finishes at the Clevedon Village Farmers Market on Monument Road in the Franklin district of Auckland. The route heads south along Monument Road before turning north-east onto Tourist Road, then runs along rural roads beside the Wairoa River, including McNicol Road, before returning towards the village via Otau Mountain Road. The course repeats parts of the 10k route and finishes back at the market. The route is made up of sealed country roads with sections of smooth, hard-packed gravel. It is described by the organisers as easy running on relatively flat roads with small undulations. Walkers are welcome and the half marathon is joined on the day by a 10k and a 5k. The event is organised by First Tier Sports Productions.
