Corporate Challenge Wellington 5k

The Corporate Challenge Wellington is a flat 5km run or walk of two laps along the Wellington waterfront, starting and finishing at Event HQ in Waitangi Park between Te Papa and Chaffers Dock. The start and finish line sits in the lee of the Chaffers Dock apartment building. Each lap follows the wide public esplanade past Te Papa, Whairepo Lagoon and the Wellington sign, running north towards Frank Kitts Park before turning back along the marina edge to return to Waitangi Park. The route is mostly paved with some stretches of gravel path, and has harbour views throughout, although it is often windy. The course has no live road crossings, and the event is a team challenge held on a summer evening at Waitangi Park, a short walk from downtown.
