About this race
The Clevedon 10k starts and finishes at the Clevedon Village Farmers Market on Monument Road in the Franklin district of Auckland. Runners head south along Monument Road to Tourist Road, then follow Tourist Road north-east before turning onto McNicol Road and continuing into the farmland beside the Wairoa River. After a turnaround on McNicol Road, the route retraces its steps along Tourist Road and Monument Road back to the village. The course is mostly sealed country road with some smooth, hard-packed gravel and is described by the organisers as easy running on relatively flat roads with small undulations. Participants aged 10 and over can enter, walkers are welcome, and the 10k shares its start area with the half marathon and 5k. It is organised by First Tier Sports Productions.
